Are your severs connected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? If not, when and why are they disconnected?

Yes. They are always connected and always monitored.  However, please be aware that all servers occassionally must be rebooted, taken down temporarily for component upgrades, etc. However, such instances are rare (servers usually go for months without needing a reboot), and usually account for very little downtime.


WSWD guarantees 99.9% service (http, ftp, pop, imap, smtp) uptime.  Should we fail to deliver this for any given calendar month, your account will be credited a pro-rated amount for the duration of excessive downtime, at the client's request.  Please see our Terms of Service for further information.
